This year, we traveled one again to the "Terezijana" 👑 in Bjelovar ⚜ – and we are thrilled again.
This colorful cultural festival in the heart of Croatia is so charming – and therefore a highlight in the Stelzen-Art calendar! 😉

The "Terezijana" is celebrating its 29th birthday this year – and is commemorating Empress Maria Theresa, who commissioned the construction of the city of Bjelovar as a fortress in 1756, in a festive yet tongue-in-cheek way.

What's special about it: Although the Empress never visited the city herself, her visit is reenacted every year in a humorous way – with a carriage, imperial entourage, and plenty of theater.

More than 30,000 visitors flock to this festival every year and for five days of performances, we're right in the middle of the spectacle. With a selection of our characters from the production "Night of Light", which created magical moments on the Eugen Kvaternik Square and in the streets of the city ✨🤩

Our performance in Bjelovar is another stage in our very own love story with Croatia. This country is undoubtedly one of our absolute favorite destinations! Over the past few years, we've had the pleasure of performing at so many wonderful festivals across the country. The people, the scenery, the warmth—we always love coming back. 🤗🥰
